Primary

Primary (Years 1-6, Ages 6-11)

Strong Foundations. Real Depth.

Primary school at SCSSA runs from Year 1 to Year 6. We follow the Pearson International Primary Curriculum, building literacy, numeracy, scientific thinking, and creativity through structured, engaging teaching. By the end of Year 6, students are prepared for the demands of secondary education and the IGCSE pathway.

The School Day

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The day includes structured lessons, break times, lunch (vegetarian, on campus), and afternoon activities.

Assessment and Reporting

Continuous observation, termly assessments, and Pearson iPrimary Checkpoint benchmarking. Written reports each term. Parent-Teacher Conferences twice yearly.

Beyond the Classroom

  • After-school clubs: Art, Music, Drama, Coding, Sports
  • Inter-house competitions
  • Educational field trips (at least one per academic year)
